This Heirloom Greek variety produces large crops of delicious and sweet long thin peppers which are commonly harvested very young at 2-3” for pickling or left to mature for salads.  

Extremely popular for pickling in Mediterranean countries and commonly seen in pizzerias, salad bars and sandwich shops.  

The plants reach around 30” and excel in colder climates with short seasons.

Harvest in 65 days from trasplant !

  1. Sow seeds 1/4" deep in 3in pots with quality seed compost. Keep moist.

  2.  Seedlings emerge in 12-28 days at 20/21 C F. Transplant to individual containers when seedlings have at least two pairs of leaves.

  3. When 4-5 inches plant  in greenhouse / conservatory, 18 in apart,  with root ball 1/2" below the soil surface.

  4.   Keep moist and feed when flowering with tomato type fertiliser

  5. Harvest when fruits have reached full-size and full colour.
