Fantastic  tomato, 4 / 6 oz, that can live and produce in cold areas, with a minimum temperature of 6C!

Through the generosity of a woman at the Siberian Institute of Horticulture, a selection of seeds from 50 different Siberian heirloom tomato varieties was given  for the use of American gardeners, around 40 years ago. 

This dwarf variety, simply called "Siberian," is capable of setting fruit at 6 degrees C,  in fact, although it is not extremely frost hardy.

Heavy producer of cherry tomatoes, very tasty, live well under the window and should be pruned in autumn s it won't grow too tall an will produce even more the following year.

Well Worth it !

  1. Sow seeds 1/4" deep in 3in pots with quality seed compost. Keep moist.

  2.  Seedlings emerge in 12-28 days at 20/21 C F. Transplant to individual containers when seedlings have at least two pairs of leaves.

  3. When 4-5 inches plant  in greenhouse / conservatory, 18 in apart,  with root ball 1/2" below the soil surface.

  4.   Keep moist and feed when flowering with tomato type fertiliser

  5. Harvest when fruits have reached full-size and full colour.
